Apartment Marketing Plan -In Depth-Help - (USA)
by Jamal Crane Any renter who has got a pet knows exactly how difficult it is to find a pet-friendly apartment complex that would welcome them with open arms. And that is just too bad because the situation can very easily be remedied with a three-word policy: Responsible Pet Ownership. Landlords who advertise apartments which are vacant do not always designate that their apartment marketing plan does not include or, more strongly, does not allow occupancy by tenants with pets. However, that

Baconfish! - (USA)
As our faithful readers already know, RBS headquarters are located in Santa Barbara, home of no less than three major wildfires in the past year. It’s been scary and chaotic, but I recently had the super fun experience of having Naseem and her mini-farm stay with me while she was evacuated. Said mini-farm included two adorable baby chickens that she just got. She wondered if owning pet chickens might turn her against eating chicken. I said that was okay by me, as long as she didn’t get any pigs.

Miranda Lambert Fears Swine Flu in Texas - (USA)
Filed under: Chatter Miranda Lambert may come across as feisty and fearless, but she admits there is one thing she is afraid of: the swine flu. "I'm very concerned," she tells Michigan radio station B93 . "We're in Texas this weekend with Kenny [Chesney] , and it's kind of scary because that's where everything is showing up. We're definitely taking precautions and unfortunately we had to cancel some meet-and-greets this weekend." Not that the singer is blaming the animals. A proud pet

There are also some other things just you want to check for when deciding on his new home. With the most important consideration being space, what you want to look for is about 2' x 3' size, or about 6 ft.. The Family Book - (USA)
From School Library Journal PreSchool-Grade 2-As he did in The Mommy Book and The Daddy Book (both Little, Brown, 2002), Parr introduces children to an array of families. Whimsical illustrations featuring neon colors and figures outlined in black show big ones and small ones, and families that look alike and relatives who look just like their pets. The art features both human and animal figures; thus, pigs depict both a family that likes to be clean, and one that likes to be messy. … B

Chinese melamine and other toxins have been in our food for years - (USA)
The rampant use of chemical additives in animal feed can be traced to 1999. According to Gao Yinxiang, the research and development of high-protein feed additives was a hot field among scientists about 10 years ago due to shortage of animal fodder in the country at the time. From that time, it’s hard to define the exact role that scientists played in the evolution of the melamine scandal. Yet scientists certainly contributed to it by developing unsafe protein alternatives. Many Chinese are now

Punching A Gift Horse In The Mouth - (USA)
Watching the film Year Of The Dog recently caused me to reflect heavily on my years growing up in central West Virginia, on a small but functional farm. In the movie, Molly Shannon's character relieves extreme loneliness through a close relationship with her dog, Pencil, and then experiences tremendous grief when Pencil ... I won't give it away. Catch the movie yourself. We had pets on the farm, but I don't think I ever really felt a closeness to to any of them. There were lots of dogs, but th

linklings, the next house edition - (USA)
Another week’s gone by, with big movements for the Blap family. We found a house we liked here in Florida, put in an offer and are sitting around (Saturday evening) wondering about whether it will be accepted or not. It’s an odd feeling – you’ve found a place you like and you want to know whether it’s going to be your home or not, based on your (to your perception) perfectly reasonable offer. It’s odd to move to a new area, and suddenly find that jobs are easier to find, nice housing is easie
